1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a person with clean antecedent.

4. Allegation is of recovery of 3312 litres of liquor from a truck.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor he was apprehended from the spot and during the course of investigation, he came to be implicated. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 18.04.2024.

6. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

7. Considering the submissions aforesaid, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Dhanha P.S. Case No. 117 of 2021.
