(i) For a direction to the Respondents state to make payment of his difference of pay in view of his promotion on the post of Class-I in the Scale of Rs. 14,300-18,300/- w.e.f.

01.01.1996 vide notification dated 26.06.2018 itself but despite frequent request and reminders the respondents are sitting tight over the matter.

Patna High Court CWJC No.12614 of 2022(3) dt.27-02-2024 2/2 (ii) For grant of compensation to the petitioner after awarding heavy cost for intentional delay in making payment of the legitimate dues of this petitioner.

(iii) For a direction for making interest @ 18% over such delayed payment. "

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
