Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 341, 342, 325, 427 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. According to FIR, the deceased had caused death of a person due to rash and negligent driving. An infuriated mob 100-150 people allegedly assaulted him causing his death. Petitioner was identified in the mob. Coaccused Surendra Manjhi has already been allowed bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr.Misc.No. 26980 of 2016.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8755 of 2018 (3) dt.23-03-2018 bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Jehanabad Police Station Case No.46 of 2015, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
