JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 22-06-2018 This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (for short 'the Cr.P.C.') has been filed by the petitioners for quashing of the order dated 14.06.2017 passed by the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Danapur in Bihta P.S. Case No.254 of 2012 by which the application filed by them, who has been made accused in a case under Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act (for short 'the E.C.Act'), to set them free from the liability of bail bonds has been dismissed.

2. In the opinion of this Court, no illegality can be found with the order impugned. The petitioners have been made accused in a case under Section 7 of the E.C.Act. They have been granted bail and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46634 of 2017 dt.22-06-2018 2/2 furnished their bail bonds as per condition of bail. The case is still pending for trial. Under such circumstance, there is no provision under the Cr.P.C. under which the petitioners could seek their discharge from the liabilities of bail bonds.
