1. Heard learned counsel for both parties.

2. The only grievance of the petitioner is that his arrear of provident fund amount for the period 01.01.1971 to 1976-77 along with interest has not been paid to him.

3. Respondents have not filed counter affidavit but in view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as taking note of the submissions of the parties, respondent no.3 (District Provident Fund Officer, Madhubani) is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner and if, grievance of the petitioner is found genuine, in that event, respondent no.3 shall ensure payment of arrears of provident fund for the above stated period with statutory interest on account of delayed payment paid to the petitioner within three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and

Patna High Court CWJC No.6647 of 2016 (3) dt.10-08-2017 if claim of the petitioner is not found genuine, then, respondent no.3 shall reject the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law with reasoned order.
