The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P.S. Case No. 180 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Section 30 (a) of Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act, 2016.

Though there is a huge recovery of liquor from three vehicles but the name of petitioner has transpired only during the course of investigation by way of confession of arrested accused person. Few of the similarly situated persons of this case have been granted anticipatory bail by this Court.

No.2800 of 2021(2) dt.22-07-2021 2/2 Considering the afore-noted facts and taking into account that the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai, in connection with Cheriya Bariyarpur P.S.
