Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove the defect/(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.

The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Chowk Police Station Case No. 202/2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 354 (A), 363, 366 (A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 8/12 of the POCSO Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he used to tease the minor victim girl and also tried to kidnap her.

No.49111 of 2022(2) dt.09-12-2022 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was not involved in sexual harassment and as such no case is made out against the petitioner under Section 8/12 POCSO Act and he has also not abducted the minor girl. Petitioner is in custody since 12.05.2022 and he has no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail of the petition. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge POCSO Court-Cum-Additional District & Sessions Judge, VIIth, Patna in connection with Chowk P.S. Case No. 202 of 2022.
