JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-08-2018 Heard Mr. Choudhary Shyam Nandan, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. Though the petitioner prays for a direction for appointment on compassionate appointment but considering that the father of the petitioner died as back as on 17.01.2002 and the claim for compassionate appointment raised by the mother of the petitioner was turned down on 26.12.2003 and this petitioner has chosen to raise the grievance after a lapse of 13 years, it is too late in the day for grant of indulgence on a stale claim. The issue should have been contested within the period stipulated in the circulars but having failed to do so
Patna High Court CWJC No.9826 of 2016 dt.20-08-2018 2/2 at the appropriate time when the claim of the mother was rejected, this Court would not exercise the extra ordinary jurisdiction after such long lapse of time.
The writ petition is dismissed.
