Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No.20 of 2018, registered under Sections 379 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 4/40 of the Bihar Mines and Mineral Act, 1972 as well as under Section 8(d) of the Illegal Mining Storage and Transporting Act, 2003. Submission is that the petitioner is the driver and challan was given to him by the truck owner, the petitioner had no knowledge that the said challan was forged one and he has no criminal antecedent.
Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstance, petitioner, Mulayam Singh is directed to be released on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15678 of 2018(2) dt.19-03-2018 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned ACJM-I, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No.20 of 2018.
