In terms of the order dated 17.07.2018, second supplementary counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the University in which detailed calculation chart of payments made has been brought on record and it has also been stated that arrears of salary for the period 01.01.1986 to 28.02.2015, amounting to Rs. 7,69,545/- has been released in favour of the Principal of the college, who shall be making payment to the petitioner.

3. Having regard to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed off.

5. However, if the petitioner feels that there is any error in the calculation or any further amount still remains to be paid, he shall be at liberty to make a detailed representation before the Registrar of the University. If such a representation is filed within four weeks from today, the Registrar of the University shall get the matter verified and pass a reasoned order within four weeks from the date of filing of the representation. If anything further is found payable to the petitioner in terms of the order passed, the same shall also be paid to him within four weeks from the date of passing of the order.
