Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60434 of 2021(5) dt.19-05-2023 2/2 of 2017, by which the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, has taken cognizance against the petitioners for the offences under Sections 341, 342, 498-A, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for both the parties have jointly submitted that the parties have settled their disputes and now there is no dispute between them and therefore, this Court may quash the F.I.R.

In view of settlement between the parties, there is no need to proceed further in the matter. Accordingly, the F.I.R. vide Mahila P.S. Case No.43 of 2017 and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the aforesaid F.I.R. including the order taking cognizance dated 14.02.2019 passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, are hereby quashed in the interest of justice.
