The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Turkauliya (Banjariya) P.S. Case No. 820 of 2019, dated 17.11.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. As promised by the petitioner, he has deposited the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4070 of 2021(3) dt.22-02-2022 2/2 amount of Rs. 2,00,000/- with the informant under protest and subject to his rights and contentions later. The aforesaid statement is not being disputed by the counsel for the informant, who also has information that the money has been paid by the petitioner to the informant. Considering this aspect of the matter, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 14.12.2021 is, hereby, confirmed. He shall remain on the same bail-bonds.

The application stands allowed.
