The petitioner is aggrieved by the area of the territorial constituency no.16 of Panchayat Samiti, Maqsoodpur in as much as according to her ward no.9 should have been included therein instead of territorial constituency no.17.

That the election has already taken place no cause for indulgence is made out and the writ petition is disposed of. The petitioner, if so advised, can take recourse to the statutory remedy so available to her under the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 and the election rules framed thereunder.
