The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case no. 71 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 324, 353, 337, 338, 332, 333, 504 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a)/45 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act2016 and 27 of the Arms Act. 5 lts. of country made liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from his conscious physical possession. The petitioner happens to be old fellow

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2283 of 2018 (2) dt.23-01-2018 2/2 aged about 65 years. He has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 31.10.2017. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excisecum-Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Patna in connection with Pipra P.S. Case no. 71 of 2017.
