Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with S.Tr. No. 321 of 2021 arising out of Cheriyabariyarpur P.S. Case No. 155 of 2019, lodged under Sections 302, 307, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that bail application of petitioners was earlier rejected vide order dated 06.04.2021 with a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial and conclude at the earliest.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48735 of 2022(4) dt.20-12-2022 2/2 A report has been called for, by which it transpires that charge has already been framed and out of 10 prosecution witnesses, 6 witnesses have already been examined. The Trial Court has expected that trial may be concluded within 8 months. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners, therefore, their bail application is hereby rejected.

But liberty is hereby granted to the petitioners that they may renew their prayer for bail after 8 months from the date of passing of this order.
