The petitioner is aggrieved by her non appointment to the post of Anganbari Sevika, Gram Panchayat Raj Chandauli, Ward No.8 in the district of Sitamarhi. It is not in dispute that any grievance arising from a selection process initiated for appointment to such post is to be first raised before the District Programme Officer of the concerned district who has been empowered to dispose of such representation under the guidelines regulating the appointment of Anganbari Sevika in force in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4533 of 2016 (2) dt.28-02-2018 2/2 State. The petitioner has failed to take recourse to such remedy. Although some kind of representation has been filed before other authorities but that would not be termed a statutory application. In the circumstances discussed, I deem it proper to dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to raise her grievance before the District Programme Officer, Sitamarhi. It goes without saying that any such application filed by the petitioner within six weeks from today together with copy of this order would be considered by the District Programme Officer and be disposed of in accordance with law after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other concerned parties.
