Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 13 (C) of 2017 registered for the offence under sections 498A, 323, 494, 497 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged in the complaint. Petitioner never made any demand of dowry. Petitioner undertakes to pay Rs. 1000/- per month to the opposite party no. 2 for her maintenance, as stated in the supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
