Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Excise Case No. 299 of 2017 registered under Section 30(a) Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that on four motorcycles 7 bags in total 315 litres of Nepali Sofy liquor was being carried away, however, the petitioner was a pillion rider, he has clean antecedent and is in custody since 9.11.2017. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Lallan Sahani is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of 7th Additional Sessions Judge -cum- Special Judge, Excise, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Excise Case No. 299 of 2017.
