2. This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No. 258 of 2018, G.R. No. 2656/2018, S.T.N. 294/2021 punishable under section 25(1-a), 25(1-AA), 25(1-b)c, 26/35 of the Arms Act and added section 121, 121 A, 124A, 379, 419, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is said to be member of gang involved in sale and purchase of AK47, though in the present case, he has kept the arms for two days. He has number of antecedent under UAPA Act.
4. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
5. Considering the submissions made by learned
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51548 of 2023(2) dt.19-08-2023 2/2 counsel for the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the application for regular bail is dismissed.
7. The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial at the earliest.
