2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bela P.S. Case No. 258 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 238, 80(2), 61(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased. He is alleged to have killed the deceased.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 23.01.2025.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the deceased has committed suicide and after investigation chargesheet has been submitted under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

6. Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47417 of 2025(3) dt.08-10-2025 2/2 opposed the prayer for bail and she has said that the deceased was killed after torturing by burning.

7. Considering the period of custody and the fact that the charge-sheet has been submitted under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, this application is allowed.

8. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Sadar, Sitamarhi in connection with Bela P.S. Case No. 258 of 2024.
