2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 179 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 354, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code to which later on Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code was added.
3. As per the allegation made in the FIR, petitioners along with other co-accused persons, had assaulted the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49157 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 2/3 informant and her family members. Specific allegation against the petitioner no. 1 is that he had assaulted the informant by means of iron-rod causing head injury.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the injury on the injured persons from the informant's side are simple in nature and the petitioners are the uncles of the informant and there is an ancestral property dispute between them. The petitioners are in custody since 26.05.2025.
5. The petitioners were granted anticipatory bail by this Court vide order dated 12.05.2025 in Cr. Misc. No. 8844 of 2025 but because they had given false statement about their antecedent, their bail bonds were not accepted and they were taken into custody.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Darbhanga in connection with Laheriasari P.S. Case No. 179 of 2021.
7. The petitioners will also mark attendance in Laheriasarai Police Station, District- Darbhanga on the first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49157 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 3/3 Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioners.
