The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Patahi P.S. Case No. 180/2015, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The mother of the deceased alleged that her daughter was married to Chhotan Sah son of petitioner nos. 1 and 2. After Bidai her daughter was brought to her sasural, but her father-inlaw, mother-in-law, husband and brother-in-laws started demanding motorcycle. It is further alleged that due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry she was strangulated to death. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.23840 of 2016 (3) dt.04-08-2016 2/2 petitioners are father-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law of the deceased. Petitioners never demanded any dowry nor ever tortured the deceased. Petitioners have no manner of concern with the family affair of the deceased and her husband. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners abovenamed, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate - 8th, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Patahi P.S. Case No. 180/2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C.
