Roy(App) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE ORAL ORDER 28-08-2015 This is an application, made under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeking bail for the accused-petitioner, namely, Ravi Dasil @ Chhotan Rai, in connection with Chapra GRPS Case No. 84 of 2007, under Sections 498A/304B/201/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Perused the above application and materials on record.

Heard Mr. Bharat Bhushan, learned Counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Upendra Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the State. In view of the fact that though the petitioner was on interim bail granted by the Supreme Court, in SLP (Cri)

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35514 of 2015 (3) dt.28-08-2015 2/2 No. 2599 of 2010, his bail was, later on, rejected by the Supreme Court and there are sufficient incriminating materials available against the accused above-named, this Court is of the view that at this stage, the accused abovenamed shall not be allowed to go on bail. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the prayer for bail is hereby rejected at this stage. This bail application shall stand disposed of accordingly.
