The petitioner, being the father-in-law, is in custody since 20.6.2014 in connection with Jalley P.S. Case No.56 of 2014 registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier a report had been called for from the court below, which has since been received. It appears from the report that at present, apart from commitment, no further progress is made in the trial.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has been in custody since over a period of one year, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of
