The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jhajha P.S. Case No. 129 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 448, 354A, 307 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the specific allegation of assault against the petitioner on a lady which caused sharp cutting injury , I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Prayer for anticipatory bail is hereby rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and prays for regular bail before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, the court below will consider the petition for regular bail of the petitioner without being prejudiced by the fact that anticipatory bail petition has been rejected by this Court.
