1. The defects, pointed out by the Registry, are ignored.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(a) nature of a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ / writs, order/orders or direction / directions commanding the respondents to allow the petitioner for taking Voluntarily Retirement of Service (in short VRS) from the post of Consy Safaiwala, At unit -

Patna High Court CWJC No.14983 of 2023(2) dt.22-01-2024 2/2 STN HQ Gaya, in view of section 22 of the Army Act and on the basis of the fact that she is not medically fit to render her rest service and also directed the respondents to start pension, pay Gratuity and other retirement benefits to the petitioner for which she is entitled."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
