JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 19-04-2018 This is the sixth attempt made by learned counsel for the petitioner for grant of bail of the petitioner, who is in custody in connection with Aurangabad (Town) P.S. Case No. 220/2009.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been in custody for last nine years and the trial has yet not been concluded.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Earlier a report was called for from the court below with regard to stage of trial, from which it appears that evidence of defence has been closed and the defence side filed a Criminal Revision in this Court. The next date has been fixed in this case on 20.04.2018 and the trial court has prayed for extension of six

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9863 of 2018 (4) dt.19-04-2018 2/2 months time to conclude the trial. As such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. This application is accordingly dismissed.
