The petitioner seeks bail in Raghopur P.S. Case No. 100 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. It has been further stated that the responsibility to verify the list was given to the responsible officer of the Government and the petitioner had no occasion to doubt the same and therefore, the petitioner released the amount as such in good faith. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 08.11.2017. The amount paid more than once or twice has been recovered from the beneficiaries.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of

No.2427 of 2018(3) dt.02-02-2018 2/2 the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-IV, Hajipur, Vaishali in connection with Raghopur P.S.
