Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 307, 326 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected earlier by order dated 19.03.2015 vide Criminal Misc. No. 48897 of 2014. There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he threw acid causing burn injury to three persons, namely, Upendra Rai, husband of the informant, her mother-in-law and the informant. Injuries are opined to be grievous in nature. It is submitted that there is counter version of the occurrence and petitioner is in jail since 30.06.2014 i.e. for the last fifteen months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42202 of 2015 (2) dt.23-09-2015 Considering the nature of allegation that the petitioner threw conc. acid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Kurhani P.S. case No. 261 of 2014 pending in the court of the learned 10th Additional Sessions Judge, Muzaffarpur.
