Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No.161 of 2017, registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation in brief is that the bag of the informant kept on his motorcycle containing Rs.60-70 thousand was stolen by some unknown persons.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except disclosure of the name of the petitioner in the confessional statement of the co-accused, there is no other material, neither looted money was recovered from possession of the petitioner nor he was put on TIP and the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

No.2395 of 2018(3) dt.16-02-2018 2/2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Jiyarul Haque is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Kishanganj in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No.161 of 2017.
