The petitioner has filed the present writ application for direction to the Respondent-University to fix and pay the pensionary benefits of the petitioner on the basis of pay fixation done by the Respondent-University on 28.01.2017 vide Annexure-P-10/1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has retired on 30.06.2017.

Patna High Court CWJC No.2964 of 2021(2) dt.11-08-2021 2/2 Learned counsel for the Respondent-University submits that petitioner has not submitted any representation before Respondent-University for the redressal of his grievance. In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will file a representation before the Respondent No.5, the learned Registrar of the University within a period of two weeks.

Accordingly, this writ application is disposed permitting the petitioner to file a detailed representation before Respondent No.5, i.e., the learned Registrar of the University raising his grievance within a period of two weeks and if such representation is filed, the Respondent No.5 is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law by a reasoned order within a further period of eight weeks.

Needless to say that if any amount is found payable to the petitioner, the same shall be paid within one month from the date of disposal of the representation.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ application is disposed of.
