Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 307, 436, 342 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 17 C.L.A. Act, Sections 3 and 4 of Explosive Substance Act and Sections 16,18,19 and 20 of U.A.P. Act.

The petitioner was identified in a mob of 150200 people who had committed arson in the house of the informant.

Submission is that several identified persons have already been allowed bail by different Coordinate Benches of this Court vide Annexure-2 series. Petitioner is in custody since 20.11.2017.

No.10102 of 2018 (4) dt.09-04-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Barachatti Police Station Case No.117 of 2011, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
