Petitioner filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondent Nos.4 to 7 to settle a piece of land in view of the guidelines contained in Letter No.4 Stha.M.Niti-101/72-4725 No. by which Gairmajarua Khas land is to be settled in favour of ex. Armyman or serving Armyman.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed petition before the Additional Collector, Circle
Patna High Court CWJC No.3143 of 2017 (2) dt.18-08-2018 Officer as well as the Collector(Annexure-8) but till date, no action has been taken for settlement of a piece of land for construction of the house of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the State prayed for time to file counter affidavit.
On consideration of submissions of the parties, I think it proper to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Collector, East Champaran, Motihari to dispose of the petition of the petitioner filed on 14.08.2012 before the District Magistrate, East Champaran within three months from the date of receipt of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
