Patna High Court CWJC No.12874 of 2022(2) dt.05-05-2023 2/3 "1. i) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/ order(s)/ direction (a)/ to the respondents 1st set to provide protection of life and property to the petitioner from respondent no. 2nd set who are trying to grab the purchased land of the petitioner which is a piece of land situated in Revenue VillageTaralya its Revenue Thana No. 189 concerning to Khata No. 206, its survey plot no. 2342 measuring in area of 01 Katha 10 dhoor which is bounded as in North-Dwarika Singh, in South-Daroga Singh, in East-Road and in west himself (Sitaram Singh and others) under the Circle of Taraiya, in the district of Saran which has been purchased from agnate of private respondent namely Sitaram Singh on the date of 20.04.1979 by way of registered sale deed, whereupon private respondents no.

12,13,14 & 15 and some scrupulous persons insisted by them who are disturbing the peaceful possession/ enjoyment to the petitioner and his family member and also threatened them for dire consequences.

ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/ order(s)/ direction (s) to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12874 of 2022(2) dt.05-05-2023 3/3 respondents to provide protection to the petitioner so that he may enjoy over the land as mentioned in above noted paragraph because anti social element are threatening the petitioner for taking possession over the land and told him that if he will go to land again, he will be done to death."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances.

Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
