2. This is the second attempt being taken by the petitioner for grant of bail for the offences under sections 20 and 22 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act in connection with Bakhityarpur P.S. Case No. 226 of 2013.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that out of 12 witnesses mentioned in the charge sheet, three witnesses have already been produced and examined. It is further submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for over 15 months.

4. A perusal of the order sheet, however, discloses that the trial is progressing and the Additional Public Prosecutor has assured that the remaining witnesses are produced at the earliest.

5. Having regard to the entirety of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant the privilege of bail to the petitioner at this stage. The bail petition stands dismissed.
