Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Twenty Six liter of foreign liquor was allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner and co-accused on motorcycle. Petitioner is in custody since 04.12.2017. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Considering the entire facts aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, on completion of three months of custody, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5308 of 2018 (2) dt.01-02-2018 amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Excise P.R. No.91 of 2017-18, corresponding to Excise Case No.1797 of 2017 , subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
