1. The delay which has occurred in removal of the defects by the petitioner is condoned.

2. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1.I.. For directing the Respondent authorities to take final decision over the petitioner's application/form dated 19.07.2018 filed for grant of License of NP Bore Rifle to the petitioner before District Arms Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran (Respondent No. 4), since till date no final decision has been taken on the application. II. Also for directing the Respondents to grant License of NP Bore Rifle, since the petitioner is entitled and eligible to have the License of NP

3. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, has already passed the final order on the application filed by the petitioner for grant of arms license and the application of the petitioner has been rejected.

4. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 09.03.2024, passed by the District Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, by filing appropriate appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959. Liberty so sought is granted.

5. The writ petition stands disposed off.
