JUSTICE HEMANT GUPTA ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 14-09-2016 The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court so as to seek security of his life from the hands of the Respondent No. 4.
2. As per averments made in the writ application, he has entered into an agreement for sale of his land with Respondent No. 4 for a total sale consideration of Rs. 6,00,000/- out of which Rs. 1,00,000/- was paid on 8th of October, 2014. Even though the date of execution of the sale deed expired, therefore, the petitioner is said to have served a notice and also moved an application for institution of First Information Report.

3. A perusal of the averments in the writ application shows that the petitioner is seeking specific performance of an agreement through the process of the Writ Court. The petitioner has liberty to avail alternative remedy from the Civil Court in accordance with law. No directions are called for in the present proceedings.
