2. In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Adapur P.S. Case No. 161 of 2025, arising out of NDPS G.R. Case No. 65 of 2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 20(B)II(B) of NDPS Act.

3. As per allegation, 12 gm of brown sugar was recovered from the possession of this petitioner. He disclosed that co-accused Jamaludin handed over the contraband for providing it to co-accused Arman Ansari.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent of similar

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51883 of 2025(4) dt.19-09-2025 2/2 nature of case. The quantity of recovered contraband is although slightly above the small quantity but it is much less than the commercial quantity. The petitioner is under custody since 07.05.2025.

5. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent.

6. Presently, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, it is rejected.

7. However, the petitioner, if so advised, may renew his prayer for bail after framing of the charges. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) kundan/- U T
