JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 27-02-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No.27 of 2017 registered under Sections 341, 323, 504, 506, 379 and 308/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the serious nature of allegation that the petitioner and others being variously armed with iron rod and Danda assaulted the informant till he became unconscious and snatched rupees fifty two thousand and a golden chain from his possession, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail is rejected.

In case the petitioner surrenders and seeks bail, the same

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11666 of 2018 (2) dt.27-02-2018 2/2 shall be considered on its own merits without being prejudiced in any manner by this order.
