2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 61 ( 2 ) and 3(5) of BNS.
3. The prosecution case , in brief, is that informant solemnized marriage of his daughter with this petitioner. After marriage , petitioner along with in laws of informant's daughter started subjecting the victim to cruelty and harassment for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry . It is further alleged that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48736 of 2025(3) dt.31-10-2025 2/2 on 13.12.2024 , all the F.I.R. named accused persons including this petitioner committed murder of informant's daughter and secretly disposed of the dead of daughter of informant.
4. Petitioner is husband of the deceased. In this case , total 6 witnesses have been examined till date and 3 witnesses are yet to be examined. Petitioner is in custody since 16.12.2024 .
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposes the bail application.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts, period of custody and other circumstances of the case , the bail application is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned J M Sheohar in connection with Piprahi P. S. Case No. 197 of 2024 .
