The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 7/13
(2) and 13(i) (d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The petitioner being Circle Officer was caught red handed while accepting Rs. 13,000/- as bribe. It is submitted that the petitioner is in jail since 08.05.2015 and charge sheet has already been submitted. Learned Special P. P. has, however, opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted and the petitioner has remained in jail for more than three months, the above named petitioner is
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33296 of 2015 (2) dt.19-08-2015 2/2 directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Vigilance, Muzaffarpur in Vigilance P.S. Case No. 35/2015 (Special case No. 15/2015).
