This appeal is against the acquittal.
The appellant is the informant. He is neither the victim nor injured as defined in section 2 (wa) of the Cr. P.C. and as such we are of the view that this appeal itself is not maintainable even though it is purported to have been filed under section 378 (2) b of the code of Criminal Procedure. It is accordingly dismissed.
