JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 30-07-2019 Admittedly the remedy of the petitioner lies under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 and in case the petitioner is aggrieved by the illegal encroachment being made over the public land/rasta, she is at liberty to approach the Circle Officer, Meenapur, DistrictMuzaffarpur by filing a petition under the provisions of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.15347 of 2019(2) dt.30-07-2019 2/2 Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 before the Circle Officer, Meenapur, District-Muzaffarpur and in case such a petition is filed, the Circle Officer, Meenapur, DistrictMuzaffarpur shall institute appropriate proceedings under the provisions of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 and after seeking objections from the encroachers shall pass final order under Section 6 of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months of filing of the petition by the petitioner herein.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
