The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.O. Case No. 260 of 2021, instituted for the offences under Section 33 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. 225 litres of Nepali liquor is said to have been recovered from a vehicle which belongs to the petitioner. The petitioner had been occupying the vehicle also at the time of raid.

He is in custody since 03.09.2021 and does not have any criminal record.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and the nature of offence, he is directed to be released on bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59240 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge -II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani, in connection with G.O. Case No. 260 of 2021.
