The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 387 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 17 of the C.L.A. Act. The site in-charge of the construction company lodged the case against two persons and many others for demand of extortion and for destruction of many articles of the company. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. The petitioner is said to have confessed in another case on the basis of which he is remanded in the present case. Save and except confession the I.O. did not collect any further tangible material. The petitioner is in jail since 26.02.2015 and has already remained in jail for more than six months.
