The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "For issuance of a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, orders or direction for 10. quashing the order dated 10.06.2023 passed by District Magistrate Begusarai in Arms License Case No. 05 of 2023 whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of Arms Licence of .22 (NPB)

Patna High Court CWJC No.10901 of 2023(2) dt.09-08-2023 2/2 Rifle filed on 27.12.2017 and other shotgun on 08.03.2021 respectively has quite erroneously been rejected without going through the police report and without following the provision provided thereto as the petitioner applied for the aforesaid arms, being a participant state level shooting championship."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 10.06.2023, passed by the District Magistrate, Begusarai, in Arms Licence Case No.05 of 2023, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
