The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "For issuance of a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order, orders or direction for quashing the order dated 20.05.2023 passed by District Magistrate, Begusarai in Arms License Case No. 04 of 2023 whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of Arms Licence of N.P bore Rifle filed on 07.07.2021 has quite erroneously been rejected without going through the police report and

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to challenge the order dated 20.05.2023, passed by the District Magistrate, Begusarai, in Arms Licence Case No.04 of 2023, by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
