Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012.
The victim has not supported the allegation of kidnapping in her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. which belies the allegation in the FIR.
Hence, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16258 of 2018 (2) dt.22-03-2018 2/2 connection with S.G.R. No. 64 of 2017 arising out of Bettiah Town Police Station Case No. 690 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
