2. The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Benipatti P.S. Case No. 273 of 2023 dated 26.11.2023, lodged under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned A.C.J.M.-I, Madhubani.

3. As per the prosecution story, FIR has been lodged against 4 named accused persons including the present petitioner against whom there is an allegation that they have killed the informant's daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51442 of 2024(2) dt.21-08-2024 2/2 submits that the petitioner has never demanded any type of dowry from the deceased nor tortured her and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Counsel further submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean.

5. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
